Ah, Yurt Life
Yurts have been used as shelter by nomadic peoples in the steppes of Central Asia for over 3,000 years. But where do cats come in?
Curl on In
Cats have the same taste in shelter as steppe nomads.
Cozy, round, secure!
Napping is just better with your flanks covered...
A Harmonious Pairing
While yurts and cats are a practical match, we like to think they match just as well aesthetically.
Kazakh Kitties
The yurt's design uses traditional design motifs and is inspired by my Kazakh background. It's a fun way to share my culture while mixing it up with fellow Khan servants--err, cat lovers.
Go Nomadic
Roam the forever home in search of the perfect seasonal chill spots. Yurts look interesting and inviting wherever you place them.
Will My Khan Fit?
Most cats fit comfortably in any napping or lounging position. Even large cats can fit! Yurts measure 15 inches in diameter (~38cm) -- 13 inches from top to bottom (~33cm). The door is 7 x 7 inches (~18cm)
We Like Doing This
Kazakh culture has so many lovely traditional designs and patterns -- we look forward to adding new designs and color schemes as we go!
Let customers speak for us
from 2 reviewsThis is my second one. The cats loved the first one so much that I had to buy the second one just to maintain peace in the house! They look great, are very well constructed, and they seem to be very comfortable. The dog keeps trying to get into one of the yurts and always looks sad that she won't fit.
Terrific construction, looks great, and the cats _love_ it! Our cat hopped in for a nap five minutes after I took it out of its box. I immediately ordered a second one to avoid yurt wars between the cats.
